The Vision Bobble Head

The Allies & Adversaries of Avengers:  Age of Ultron – The New Guys

Superhero Identity: Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver & The Vision

Real Name:  Wanda Maximoff, Pietro Maximoff & Vision

Played By:  Elizabeth Olsen, Aaron Taylor-Johnson & Paul Bettany

Marvel Comics History:  In 2014, filmgoers were introduced to one the fastest superheroes ever when Evan Peters debuted as Quicksilver in the hit film X-Men: Days of Future Past. In 2015, Quicksilver will make an appearance in another Marvel film, this time Avengers: Age of Ultron. Played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson, this version of Quicksilver will differ from the hero found in Marvel Comics where he is the son of mutant Magneto. Throughout his comic history, Quicksilver has been a member of the Avengers, X-Men, X-Factor and even the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants.

Quicksilver’s twin sister, Scarlet Witch, is also making her debut in Age of Ultron.  In the comics she is one of the most powerful mutants alive with the ability to warp reality, manipulate probability and use Chaos Magic. In 2004, she altered the Marvel Universe when she lost her mind and nearly pulled the fabric of reality apart. This is not somebody you want fighting against you. Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver both briefly appeared in the mid-credits scene of Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

Scarlet Witch POP!

Finally, Age of Ultron will feature a third new hero known as Vision. An android created by Ultron to fight the Avengers, Vision turned on its creator and teamed up with Earth’s Mightiest Heroes to defeat Ultron. In Age of Ultron, Vision is voiced by Paul Bettany, who also voices J.A.R.V.I.S.
